If you need an extra set of hands on your shoot, we can help you with that! Brilliant White Studio has a range of assistants who can help your shoot run smoothly and seamlessly. From helping with setting up and adjusting lighting, to keeping on track with shot lists, wardrobe and doing other general runner type activities, just let us know what you need.
On-site Technical Coaching
Is this your first time shooting in a studio? Is your client brief a tricky one? Are there some technical aspects that are new to you or that you aren’t proficient in yet? Don’t stress – just let us know and we can pair you up with an on-site technical coach to lead you through your photoshoot to ensure successful outcomes for photographer and client.
How do I know if I need an assistant or a coach?
An assistant will work under your direction only. This is the option for experienced studio photographers who simply need an extra set of hands and are confident in directing an assistant. An assistant does not offer technical support or tuition on how to shoot in a studio or how to use lighting.
If you think you may need an extra set of hands who are also able to technically trouble-shoot or assist you with flash or camera settings – you will need a technical coach. If you aren’t sure, just get in touch and we are more than happy to help you figure it out!
